Determine if content management system (CMS) is capable of maintaining sitemap
- Can you specify the permalink individually per page?
- If you move a page, does the permalink stay intact?
- Does the metadata you add in CMS populate the correct meta tags in the generated HTML?
- Can the CMS automatically generate a new sitemap.xml file following edits in the CMS? The Google Sitemap Generator plugin for Wordpress, for example, is capable of this.
