So, you say you still doubt the power of prayer? You don’t believe the messages of the mystics when they tell us that our thoughts, our words, our deeds change ourselves and our very world at the molecular level? You don’t believe that we set an entire new universe in motion with every desire, every action? You don’t believe that one ripple upon the water changes the universe? Here’s a link for all agnostics. Check it out—if you dare.
And once you’ve seen this, here are a few reminders from R. Buckminster Fuller’s, Critical Path.
- Biological life is 50 percent water
- Although the earth’s surface is 75 percent covered with water, the proportional depth of the oceans would equal less than the absorption depth of blue ink into thin paper
- Water freezes and boils within a close range of limits, which essentially means that our biosphere is uniquely designed to support the survival of human beings
- ”...water gains and loses heat more slowly than any other known profusely available substance”
Geez. I’ve wondered since I was a child what my bathwater really looks like as it disappears into the drain. Do you remember that first time you were surely fascinated by the little funnel of water swirling like magic near the drain in your bathtub? And, if you imagined that it was turning upside down upon itself as it disappeared into there somewhere, you likely now find yourself comparing that image to today’s diagrams of DNA molecules; and if you imagined it turned sideways upon itself, then when you saw an infinity symbol for the first time, you likely not only recognized it, you understood it, and so on and so on.
