Louis RosenfeldI’m headed out to Portland next week for Louis Rosenfeld’s enterprise information architecture seminar. I’m looking forward to learning a few more tricks of my trade and Rosenfeld is one of the best in the business. Busting information silos—even in a brand new college—is proving to be more difficult than I’d imagined.

I wish my office at the university had the budget for me to attend Steve Krug’s usability seminar the next day, but no such luck; there’s always next year.

Rosenfeld has also recently started a publishing company. An entity specializing solely in user experience design. What great timing. If time and schedules allow, I’m going to try to snag a bit of his time to talk about that as well.
