International Women’s Day march

Nina Utne, my employer, was arrested over the weekend for singing in front of the White House. It would seem that not only has dissent been redefined as treason; there will be no singing in front of massa’s Big House.

In reading Nina’s account of her experience, I’m reminded that humor is a critical element of any civil disobedience action. I’m finding myself particularly glad that the women are running things this time around, although running a pig for president and levitating the Pentagon are going to be hard to top.
