“History tells us that raw power spawns hubris,” writes Dan Gillmor in his Sunday column.

You know we’re in trouble when the most astute analysis of last week’s election comes from a technology journalist who isn’t even in the country.

Gillmor nails it when he says that Americans have voted for a cartel economy, just like the one in Hong Kong were control rests with a handful of powerful corporations.
