Watching Jason McCabe Calcanis and Nick Denton snipe at each other makes for entertaining spectator sport from time to time. But an important aspect of micropublishing is falling between the cracks in the most recent catfight between the two individuals most responsible for successfully commercializing networks of nanopublications on the net. Namely that it’s unethical to take money or gifts for coverage. Period. Calcanis calls out Denton on just this issue; Denton fails to respond to the point.
