A tech executive who actually gets it

Here’s something new. Most technology company executives don’t know anything about the technology their companies develop. They could be just as easily selling shoes, and that’s how most of them go about it.

John Robb is the COO of UserLand Software, (the company that develops the software that runs this site) and while his background indicates we wouldn’t have much common ground at all, his bullet list predictions for 2002 and recap of 2001 are spot on and demonstrates that he knows whereof he speaks.
